I’ve endured a part of my system, scavenging the other,

I’ve endured the suffocating smoke, the choking plastic, the exploitation of resources,

I’ve endured unnecessary destruction, and your misuse of power for self satisfaction...




No, I won’t betray you,

Just let me reset, and while I’m at it,

You settle down and take sometime,

Contemplate and ruminate, of how you treat this one green family that we are,

Comeback more modest, and I’ll welcome you with open arms,

After all, You call me Mother Earth. I’ll keep giving, but you must learn how to care and share...
